This depicts the use of "island" space between two multi-laned roads often used as gardens, grass, or left barren. Instead, a light rail system is elevated and the space beneath its supports is rented or sold out as shopfronts. Pedestrian crossings, u-turns, and public space can also be allotted along the route.
The model was done in SketchUp and the actual train was imported from SketchUp's 3D Warehouse. Rendering was done with Vray and final editing done in GIMP.
